The theme of the conference is
“Reassessing and Redefining Learning in the Post-pandemic Era”
Covid-19 pandemic has affected most sectors of life in both short and long run. Education is one of the most affected sectors. Teaching and learning processes, which underpin education process, are to adapt in the new circumstance. Double-loop processes in learning, in which teachers and students are directed to interact intensely in classroom learning settings should be modified in order to fit the health protocols, avoiding Covid-19 virus. In this respect, online learning was introduced.
Furthermore, collaborative learning, which is designed to rise up social capital development culture in teaching learning process, should also be modified, in order to meet the new learning protocols in schools. The development of this social capital is an essential in current national curriculum in Indonesia, in order to embed students’ character building processes in all subjects included in schools.
To develop learning which embed new paradigm of classroom teaching-learning and collaboration processes in the new school health protocols, a number of studies should be initiated. New teaching learning alternative should be formulated. Effective learning processes and strategies should be reassessed and redefined. This conference facilitates researchers from all over the world to present finding with regard to the teaching and learning challenges and strategies during and post pandemics era. Papers regarding teaching learning strategies are welcomed, including any proposed alternative of learning strategies for both short and long run solution. In more detailed, the theme scope of this conference is stated below.
This second international conference is expecting broad themes with regard to reassessing and redefining learning issues in post pandemic era, as follows.
Presentation and Publication
The 2st International Conference on Literacy and Education invites experts, teachers, lecturers, researchers, and students to submit their abstracts and full papers to be presented in the conference.
Abstracts and full papers should be written in the English or Indonesian language. Peer review will take place to ensure the abstracts and manuscripts submitted are well-written, original, and relevant to the themes of the international conference.
Regarding the publication of the full papers, selected papers (as described above) will be published in the conference e-proceedings (ISBN).
